Weekly Reminder for November 9-13

A lot is happening this week for McLennan County 4-H... make sure you don't miss out!
9th- Major Stock Show Sign Up from 8AM to 8PM
9th- McLennan County Junior Livestock Show Swine Validation 4-6PM at HOT

10th- Lamb and Goat Showmanship Clinic (bring your animals) from 6-8PM at the MCC Highlander Ranch

11th- Holiday the Extension Office will be closed.

Horse Judging Practices

There will be a horse judging practice on Sunday, November 15th at 2PM at the HOT facilities.

District 8 Food Show and Food Challenge Results

Congratulations to the McLennan County 4-H Food Challenge Teams

China Spring 4-H Senior Members-Paige Pollard, Jessica Garrett, and Haley Griffin placed first and will be competing at the first ever State Food Challenge in June.

Bosqueville 4-H Senior Members-JT Motloch, Wil Motloch, Lauren Motloch and Connor Jackson placed 5th

The Robinson 4-H Jr/Inter Team and the Bosqueville 4-H jr/Inter Team did a great job representing McLennan County also.

Emmali Pankonien of Hallsburg 4-H placed 4th in the Fruits and Vegetables Food Show.

Congratulations to National Livestock Judging Team

This Sunday November 1st Brant Embry, Emily Jackson, Laramie Priest and Taylor Haliburton competed in the American Royal Livestock Judging Contest in Kansas City, KS representing Texas 4-H. The Team placed 9th overall, 2nd in reason (which is awesome) and 3rd in beef. Emily Jackson placed 4th in beef and 2nd in reasons. The team did a great job in representing Texas and McLennan County.
